Shall We Continue in Sin Nkjv

Bible Verses about Sin

« Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom… 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 »

  • Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
  • If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
  • For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
  • Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
  • What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!
  • Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.
  • Direct my steps by Your word,
And let no iniquity have dominion over me.
  • Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
  • Have mercy upon me, O God,
    According to Your lovingkindness;
According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,
    Blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
And cleanse me from my sin.
  • He who walks with integrity walks securely,
But he who perverts his ways will become known.
  • And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?
  • A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
  • And above all things have fervent love for one another, for "love will cover a multitude of sins."
  • If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
  • And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.
  • Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted.
  • Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful.
  • Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
  • Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
  • And He said, "What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man."
  • Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.
  • So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
  • For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
  • Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
  • But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints.

Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses,
For they are from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions;
According to Your mercy remember me,
For Your goodness' sake, O Lord.

Bible verse of the day

For it is written:

Every knee shall bow to Me,
